ALFRED WALKER 1871 - 1954


Services for Alfred WALKER, 83, of 1447 E. High Street Road, Allen County, Lima, Ohio, who died in Memorial Hospital at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 1954 after a four-month illness, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Chiles and Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Hulda Hooker will officiate and burial will be in Ward Cemetery.


A retired piano tuner, Mr. WALKER had lived in Lima for 12 years. Surviving are his widow, Ecker; six sons, Thurman, Chesapeake, O.; James W., Stanley, Thomas and Ellis all of North Kenova, O., and Marshal, Crown City, O; a stepson, James Reynolds, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Hale, Flatwoods, Ky., and Mrs. Ethel Knight, Lesage, W.Va.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Rebert Camp, Gallipolis, and 20 grandchildren.
