WILL OF JOSEPH WALKER

JULY 16,1833


I Joseph Walker of the county of Spencer and state of Ky, do hereby make my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say 1st, I desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my estate, and that all the perishable part of my estate be sold at the descretion of my executors herin after named. 2nd. I will and bequest unto my beloved wife Agnes Walker the one third part of my estate both real and personal for and during her natural life, 3rd, I will and bequest unto my son Gideon Walker the sum of one dollar, which with what I have heretofore given him is all I intend he shall have of my estate, 4th, I will and bequest the balance of my estate both real and personal to be equally divided between my children, Harrison, Lewis, Neals (Cornelius) , Miranda, Eliza, Presley, Nancy and Chapley Walker to their heirs forever and the estate bequested to my wife Agnes Walker at her death, is to be equally divided between the before named children. Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife Agnes Walker sole executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revolking all other former wills or testaments by me therefore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 16th day of July 1833.
